Lake Svitiaz

White Lake

The healing gem of Volyn Oblast — White Lake, formed in the basin of the Styr River, near the settlement of Rudka. At first glance, it seems like a mirror-like white surface, though in fact its waters conceal great healing power. Local residents say that bathing in the lake can heal those who have skin problems, as the water contains a lot of glycerin, potassium and phosphorus. That is why people come here to treat burns, blood pressure, inflammation, cuts and the nervous system.
The lake is a favourite place for holidaymakers at any time of year. Its surface does not freeze even in winter, since the water temperature is always above 8 ˚C. It is also a favourite place for anglers, as perch, eels, tench and pike are found here.

Kahul Lake

Buky Canyon

Anyone who decides to spend their holiday in Buky Canyon in Cherkasy Oblast will be able to see rocks from the Proterozoic period, admire their beauty and feel united with nature. Holidaymakers can not only spend several unforgettable days by the crystal-clear river, but also visit local sights: a waterfall, a mill, and Buky HPP.
The area is located near the village of Buky, but there are no facilities or shops here. So everything you need should be taken care of in advance. Holidaymakers should also choose the right side of the canyon, which is not part of the protected area.
