1.1. The personal data of travel-guide.in.ua users is processed on secure servers located both within and outside the European Economic Area.
1.2. This Privacy Policy describes how personal data collected through travel-guide.in.ua (the Site) is processed. In all the cases described, the Website Owner may process users’ personal data only in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Personal Data Protection’ and the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data. This Privacy Policy has been developed in accordance with the provisions of these documents.
1.3. 2.1. Registration information: When a User creates an account on the Site, certain information, such as a valid email address and password, may be required. The Account includes information about the User such as their geographical location, first and last name, telephone number and related information, including photographs they may upload to their Account. Users are responsible for all information they post in publicly accessible accounts and in the places they add. The User should carefully consider all risks associated with making certain information, particularly their address or precise location, publicly available. If a user chooses to log in through a third-party authentication service, for example using Facebook details, the Website may receive additional profile information or other information made available by that third party.
2.2. Website and mobile data: The Website Owner may automatically receive and record on its servers information from the user’s browser or any device, including the IP address, software and hardware attributes, pages requested by the User, mobile identifiers, application usage information and/or information about other devices used or system-level information. This may occur on the Site, in the mobile application or through third-party services. 2.3. Information available from user profiles on multi-user Internet platforms (social networks): By registering on the Site or logging in through social network authentication services, the User consents to the Website Owner collecting and processing information posted in the relevant social network profiles, as well as publishing information about the User’s actions on the Site and/or in the mobile application on those social networks.
2.4. We collect information about ratings and reviews you give other users after interacting with them, as well as ratings and reviews you receive from other users, in accordance with our Terms of Use. We do this to measure users’ satisfaction with their experience of working together, ensure an optimal and effective level of communication between users, and detect and prevent unwanted activity and behaviour in connection with activities on the Website. This information allows us to take necessary and appropriate steps to maintain high standards of service.
Information the Website does not collect or process:
The Website does not collect or process personal data concerning racial or ethnic origin, political, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of political parties or trade unions, or similar information.
3.1. As part of the Website’s activities, the Website Owner may collect certain information using technologies such as cookies, pixels and local storage (in your browser or on your mobile device).
3.2. Cookies are small text files that store information directly on the user’s computer, mobile phone or other device.
3.3. Pixels are small digital images included in web page code that allow another server to measure page views and are often used together with cookies. The code tracks whether, when and on which page a pixel is loaded to indicate that a user has interacted with a page or part of the Site.
3.4. 4.1. This Privacy Policy was last updated on 9 October 2021. The Website Owner may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. A revised Privacy Policy takes effect when it is published online at the address specified in this clause, unless the revised Privacy Policy provides otherwise.
4.2. If the Website Owner makes any changes to the Privacy Policy with which the User disagrees, the User must stop using the Site’s services. Continued use of the Site confirms the User’s consent to and acceptance of the relevant version of the Privacy Policy.
