Product composition

Ridomil Gold contains two active substances — metalaxyl-M and mancozeb. This combination provides a dual translaminar-systemic effect. The active components penetrate plant tissues and quickly spread through all parts, including young leaves and shoots, fruits and berries, creating a long-lasting protective effect. At the same time, the product is low-toxic for people and non-toxic for pollinating insects. The harvest from treated plants is completely safe for consumption. 

How the product works 

Metalaxyl-M stops the spread of fungal infection in plants from within through its systemic action. It works by inhibiting the RNA biosynthesis of fungi. 

The active substance accumulates in the crop tissues, which prevents the pathogen from developing further. Mancozeb acts as a protective barrier, stopping fungal sporulation by disrupting the pathogen's metabolism at the cellular level. Together, these components in the product effectively combat late blight, downy mildew and false powdery mildew.

Features of using Ridomil Gold

Ridomil Gold is effective against fungal diseases of tomatoes, potatoes and tubers, cucumbers, onions and grapes. To prepare the solution, the packet of granules (25 g) should be diluted in 5 l of water. 

The application rates of the working solution are as follows:

• onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes – 5 l/are;
• vineyards – 2 l per bush.

The fungicide begins to destroy pathogens within the first 30 minutes after reaching the plant cuticle.

Important! For preparing the solution, use slightly warm water without impurities. Spray stems and leaves evenly. Treatment is carried out in warm (from +15 ⁰C), dry, windless weather.
